There have been plenty of iconic moments during Eagles tailgating over the years. But what happened outside of Lincoln Financial Field ahead of the Monday Night Football matchup against the Cowboys may go down as the most romantic.
Two Eagles fans got married during the tailgate and it had everything you’d expect. There were wedding rings inside beer cans, a green carpet, the Eagles fight song, and a special appearance by Jason Kelce.
“This is incredible,” the bride told NBC10’s Aaron Baskerville live on air. “So, we found out we won this giveaway about two and a half weeks ago and it’s just been a whirlwind ever since and now we’re here and this energy is insane.”
If you need any proof that the wedding was destined to happen during an Eagles tailgate then look no further than the couple’s last name.
“My last name is Byrd and her last name is about to be Byrd,” the groom told NBC10. “We’re the Byrds!”
